“the VOW”
Wedding Photographer Dudley | Shakiel and Hannah
As a Wedding Photographer Dudley gave me the perfect opportunity to use the ruins at Priory Park for Shakiel and Hannah. This was a family affair held on the 24th February 2017 in Dudley. Set in the middle of a cold winter, we thought it would be rained off or see some snow fall, but the heavens were clear! It was dry, bright and the air was crisp.
A semi-crisis occurred when traffic held up the bridesmaids after getting their make-up done. A little later then the expected time, they all arrived at the hall. The bride looked beautiful and the groom, handsomely smart. The bridesmaids looked lovely and the ushers looked the part. The hall was packed. The wedding talk and ceremony contained good instruction with a little amusement in places.

My favourite part of the day, time with just the Bride and Groom, yielded some really nice shots. Priory Park was great. Having shot here before, I new the open ruins allowed for a lot of variety. Having sent the family and friends on to the reception, we took some time out to enjoy the couple portraits. It was cold though and that winter snap started to get colder, quickly! So after making our way to WS10 we were happy to get inside. The food was great and there were many comments applauding the spicy menu! There was a lot of it too! Speeches were entertaining and moving and move we did, when the music started playing for the first dance.
It was a brilliant day and there were loads of little memorable moments that will be long treasured.
