A Simple Wedding

In the middle of August, for me, the best month for a wedding, Roy and Donna had a really nice, small simple wedding.

This was a wonderful gathering of family and friends, excited to witness the bride and groom taking their vows.  The sun was out and happy faces littered the hall.  During the wedding talk there was loud laughter as the speaker wove in some spontaneous humour.

A few group pictures were taken immediately outside the hall and then the journey was made into the center of Birmingham for the wedding breakfast.

With the guests finding their tables, I took the newlyweds for a few wedding photography pictures in the Georgian square of St Paul’s in the Jewellery Quarter.  The wonderful palms were perfectly fanned out providing a tropical backdrop to the images.  I missed out the listed Grade 11 buildings for the most part and felt this gave a certain mystery to the location identity.

An intimate group of family and friends then enjoyed a meal at the excellent Cucina Rustica Restaurant.  A short speech from Roy and we tucked into the lovely Italian cuisine.

Smooth and simple, all in attendance enjoyed the experience and loved being present.
