A Romantic Wedding for Adrian and Sharon

A romantic wedding for Adrian and Sharon, finally took place earlier this summer.  The pandemic over the last two years had impacted their plans so many times, but these two coming together could not be stopped!  Everyone in attendance was so happy for them.  Their poetic expressions of love in their vows, along with a few tears from the groom added to the ceremony.  As they were pronounced man and wife, their joy was radiant!  

The Priory ruins gave a timeless background to the bride and groom portraits.  These dissolved buildings of old limestone, provide great contrast to the soft and colourful, modern fabrics of the bridal party.  Priory park in itself is so varied, it has the old Grade 1 listed Priory Hall which is the registry office in the middle of the park, then, the ruins of the priory to the left.  A rose garden and a lily pond also feature, with some amazing tall thistles that I absolutely love.  

The wedding breakfast was back at the Ibis Styles Hagley Road.  Smiles and embraces were aplenty. The, his and her dances, the speeches, the laugh-out-loud moments shot on the dance floor,.. this was a romantic wedding enjoyed by everyone!
