This anniversary shoot for Shakiel and Hannah was for their second year. Two years have absolutely flown by and it was good to have both Shakiel and Hannah in front of the camera again. It was not as cold as on their wedding day, but we were all prepared just in case! In the end, it was fine. They both did their thing, which was great, especially in light of some challenges.
Little Elyanna was born in September and we were fortunate to be able to shoot her just outside the suggested 10 days from her birth. Newborn posing is always easier at this age.
We had a great Newborn Baby Photography session for the Smiths back in June, introducing little Malakai! Such a cute, happy little boy!
In December I shot the Hall’s ‘this is FAMILY’ lifestyle session in Sutton Park. It was great fun. Wall art for their landing at home was what they wanted, and we had more than a few candidates by the end of the shoot.
We feared the weather was going to be miserable, but it actually, was quite mild. We entered the park through the south entrance, Banners Gate and straight away loved the scenic elements.
My first dabble in newborn photography was for this little one, Caleb.
We did the shoot in the family home two weeks after Caleb was born. It was an eventful afternoon to say the least – a nappy change, feeding session, clothing changes and the customary setup/ take down of lights, backdrop and props.
After a few weeks sorting out my new website I am ready to start afreshr!
In June I attended the A-Z of Photography and Business Training course run by Aspire. It was a real help to shaping the way I see my business and making good use of various streams. Many thanks to the team there, the guidance received, was really valuable.
