An Ansty Hall Winter Wedding was the perfect setting Rob and Lisa.  They had chosen this Macdonalds hotel in Coventry well and all were excitedly looking forward to how the hotel setting with it’s landscaped gardens, would fare with the snowfall that day. We were not disappointed! With the vows taking place not far away at the St Mary’s church Wallsgrave, the day benefited from good planning as the snow could have easily derailed things.

Having stopped overnight at the hotel, getting ready images were shot on location.  Lisa was full of emotion as she had sadly lost her father some time before the wedding day.  Her family though were on hand however to fully support.   Some nice vintage cars were hired for the day, and Lisa arrived at the church for the ceremony with Rob anxiously waiting inside. There were tears as she entered with her brother walking her in.  There were however, smiles and kisses on exit!  After the service it was back to the  Ansty Hall for the winter wedding refreshments and some indoor photos before we set out onto the grounds for some winter portraits.  These are some of my favourite winter wedding images. The trees in the grounds for Ansty Hall give some great interest and detail and the fresh falling snow was just perfect!  Lisa was really happy and both she and Rob were excellent to work with, and were really up for getting some great images.  That, believe it or not, can make a big difference with the variety of images you get.

The wedding breakfast took place in the Orangery Suite and this was a nice size room with a great layout.  Guests could comfortably see the bride and groom and hear the speeches.   Rob and Lisa came out for a few back lit night time shots, when the disco got going.  Ansty Hall winter weddings do feature fireworks as the night draws in.  You can arrange this by speaking with the wedding coordinator there before hand. All in all, Ansty Hall was a good venue and Rob and Lisa had a wonderfully memorable day.
