A Sheffield Wedding for Ashley and Grace
This Sheffield wedding was for Ashley and Grace, and undoubtedly, on one of the hottest days of the year! Shooting as a second photographer to Clive Blair, I covered Ashley and his Ushers getting ready. Subsequently, we joined up with the bridal party at the church St Pauls in Norton Lees. It had a special significance to the couple as Grace’s grandparents had gotten married there many moons ago!
There was a great atmosphere to the day and friends and family were both excited and happy for the couple. Grace’s Mom had prepared the flowers and buttonholes and they played an important part in the wedding having a “Green” theme. The invites for instance were printed on sustainable seed paper and there was a very meadowy vibe throughout. Wooded locations for the portraits, barn dances, and lots of green around the reception at Ashover Parish Hall completed it.
A Sheffield Wedding venue – Ashover Parish Hall
The Timberfolk brought the party later into the evening. Just have a look at some of those party images and tell me if you think people enjoyed themselves!
I hadn’t been to Chesterfield for a number of years. However, shooting this Sheffield Wedding with its reception at Ashover Paris Hall took me back and I was once again in awe of that Amber valley view. The Ashover Paris Hall is well equipped for weddings of various sizes with three rooms, the Amber Hall, the Fabrick Room, and the Rattle Room. Just adjacent to the hall, there is a field, and it’s possible to hire it out, while having your guests camp over, which I think would be very special, in the summer of course!
Enjoy the memories!
